This is a really interesting (but long) interview with Keira Knightley about A Dangerous Method. I watched it when it was released quite a while ago, but I just recently saw the film, and it’s really cool to listen to her talk about the process she went through to come up with Sabina’s tics and mannerisms.

Another interesting part of this video happens around 12:30, when she starts discussing those spanking scenes with Michael Fassbender. This is the interview that people have gotten that quote about him from (the whole “you’re not really in a position to be making any threats” thing). This quote has never bothered me, considering I actually watched the interview and saw how that entire exchange was a joke between the two of them. Though I can see how it sounds strange out of context.

Only reason I’m talking about that quote is because I’ve gotten a couple of messages about how his abuse charges and this quote have made me feel. All I know is he’s an incredibly talented actor, and a seemingly nice enough guy. The situation with his girlfriend is so fishy and mucked up on both sides that I don’t think anyone on the outside could possibly comment on it. But that’s just how I feel.
